I have naturally dry skin that is exacerbated by the lack of humidity in my home. The result? Irritated and flaky skin. When the colder months come creeping in, I have to resort to heavy moisturizers to keep my skin hydrated.

It wasn’t too long ago that I tried out the Canopy Bedside Humidifier for the first time. I was eager to find a solution that hydrated my skin and improved my overall health. It did not disappoint. The mold inhibition and no-mist technology created a better breathing environment for me while adding just the right amount of humidity to benefit my dry skin. The only downside of the humidifier was the loud fan that sometimes kept me from getting a deep sleep.

The skincare gods must have heard me because Canopy came out with a Bedside Humidifier 2.0 that is reimagined for better sleep and skin — without the noise. It still has all the features I know and love, but now has a bigger, slower fan to prohibit noise and has more sleep-forward features, such as red light.

I’ve come to trust Canopy with my skincare needs, so a humidifier that continues to rejuvenate my skin while providing me with a better night’s rest just felt too good to be true. I had to find out for myself. Let me give you a little hint on how it went — I’ve never slept better.

Peaceful sounds and minimal noise

The Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0 comes with a bigger fan. It jumped from 82mm to 112mm. Because of this, the fan moves slower, reducing high-pitched noises and sleep disruption. This slight change was already enough for me to be the first in line for the product launch, but then I found out about the new white noise settings.

Canopy’s new humidifier has a built-in white noise feature with three soothing settings so you can wind down and get deep sleep. It utilizes a blend of brown (low frequency) and pink noise (ambient sound) that operates at a noise level of 65dB, which is similar to background conversations at a restaurant. This is a high noise level, but has a low pitch to make it relaxing similar to thunder or a waterfall. With three volumes to choose from, I can now be in control of my sleeping environment. The white noise helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep.

Hydrated, glowing skin

This might be counterintuitive, but though I struggle with dry skin, I always have my indoor AC on low (the struggles of living in the South). The constant blast of cool air further dehydrates my skin. With the Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0, I don’t have to sacrifice cool air for healthy skin.

Mist often leads to condensation, which can create a habitat for mold to grow. Contrary to other humidifiers, the Bedside Humidifier 2.0 uses evaporative technology to provide clean, mist-free air. With no condensation, your skin isn’t at risk of coming into contact with particles that could interfere with the skin barrier.

The Canopy Humidifier utilizes smart technology so the right amount of moisture is being added to the room when needed. It combats low humidity from air conditioning or indoor heating, turning my dull, dehydrated skin into hydrated, glowing skin.

Breathe easier

I originally invested in a humidifier to help my skin, but I quickly learned that moisture is imperative to my health, too. Dry air can contribute to allergies and coughing.

The Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0 provides consistent moisture in the air without the risk of mold growth. The mist-free technology guarantees no unnecessary particles are contaminating the air. With the smart persistent airflow and UV light, mold growth is inhibited before it can exit the device, ensuring you’re getting clean air.

The Beside Humidifier 2.0 features a new filter that filters both the water and air before it is evaporated. A pre-filter catches dust and particles from the air. Then, a paper-based antimicrobial filter catches dissolved metals, minerals, and dust from the water. My bedroom is now filled with just the right amount of humidity and clean air, allowing me to breathe better and get better rest.

Better Sleep

The Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0 has elevated my sleep. Throughout the night, my skin is being hydrated and I’m getting better rest.

With the new LED lights on the Bedside Humidifier 2.0, my beauty rest is elevated. The sleep light offers two options: a warm, white light or a red light. As an avid reader, I love using the subtle white night light for reading. This helps me wind down and relax before shutting off for the night.

I have to admit, the red light was a little intimidating at first, but I quickly realized it changed my sleeping habits for the better. A red light can elicit deeper sleep because it protects from sleep disruptions caused by seasonal changes. It can boost melatonin, a hormone responsible for regulating circadian rhythms at night. It helps ease me into sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

Bottom Line

I was a fan of Canopy with their original Bedside Humidifier. Now, I am their number one fan with the Bedside Humidifier 2.0. It aids in hydrating my skin, helping me look rejuvenated and glowing while creating an environment that allows for deeper sleep. It’s truly the best of both worlds. At just $159, you can get this skincare-elevating device. Or, for just $134 ($25 every 45 days), you can opt for the humidifier and filter and aroma subscription. This comes with an aroma sample and filters and aroma refills every 45 days.

My skin has never felt brighter and younger. If you’re looking for a solution to dry, irritated skin and don’t want to sacrifice your sleep with noisy humidifiers, try the Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0. Thank me later!
